i managed to get thru the 25 pgs. of toxic chemical risk & assessment (it was HELL)..
i did manage to get a couple sewing "breaks" (see below), as well as able to save all the satellite screen shots, AND my power-walking (almost 2,000 steps actually)....

this entire time i was doing the usual bi-locating... the men usually "baby sit" for me if they are around and i have a lot of schoolwork to do, but today it was a little different.... Jules and Wesley wanted to go down to the sea, and Seamus wanted to go with them..... usually Melody skips along, side by side, with her 3 fathers, but not today... she decided to stay behind and play with her siblings (both babies were awake, not napping).... i agreed that she could stay behind IF she was a good girl and let mommy do her schoolwork.. (she was mostly focused on the babies, so it all worked out)...

but i was around 1/2 finished with the reading when she came to me and said that she wanted to change her name from Melody to a Hebrew name that meant the same thing... i just asked her "okay sweetheart, but to be honest, i have to google the computer a bit.. i don't know the Hebrew translation yet".... she very patiently let me go back to my reading after promising her that we would look it up in an hour or so....

Google gave us a handful of words but Melody refused a lot of them because of the gender of the words (obviously), i suggested that we just pick one of the words and alter the gender, but she would have none of it... but she read a word "Neh'ima" that means "tune, melody, tone, descant" -- i had to pause when i saw that last word (i had to make sure it didn't mean anything "ugly"), but once i read that the word generally referred to a rather soprano form of music sang in hymns/chants... the word also is used to describe a rather "loquacious" person, but Melody actually got a kick out of that..

she lowered her face just a smidge and smirked "i *do* talk a lot, ima" (making fun of herself), but as per usual i popped into mommy-mode "oh honey, but we LOVE that you ramble like you do, your words mean so much to us!"... Wesley had once told her "you are just sharing a large part of yourself verbally... we *need* those words" (his major was English Lit., i'm surprised he doesn't follow her around with a tape recorder)...
