one of my first classes dealt with "teaching" us how to understand how we learned new things; were we more "visual learners" or "auditory" or "kinesthetic" -- surprise surprise, i am the lattermost kind of person, and in the class we were also shown a bunch of scenes and asked what the people looked like they were feeling and how should we respond to them.....
i can't tell you how many times i "read" a person in a scene as "calm"/"peaceful", "lost in thought", "resting", etc. and i was marked as incorrect because i SHOULD have said they were "angry"/"perturbed", "obsessing" on something, or "hideously lonely", etc...................... are you kidding me???
THIS is why i hate spending time with people (esp. extroverts), they are always misreading *me* and trying to interfere my peaceful moments of daydreaming because THEY think i look perturbed and MUST be hideously lonely.......... "small talk" is a *huge* pet peeve of mine.
