was able to write an outline for week #5's presentation on "Energy Policies and Natural Resources"... not sure if my teacher will like the look of this outline but i wrote it to make sense to me...
i also found an interesting question in a forum at ResearchGate.. i went ahead and joined the page just so i could communicate with the woman who had started that conversation ("Gloria")... she made references to the members at facebook acting as though they were rats getting rewards (pressing a lever allowing them to get a snack).... it seems that the users of FB act like they get little rushes of endorphins (i think that dopamine is a part of this, too), whenever they flip through and paste a multitude of memes... the number of their "likes" is definitely adding to the rushes...
i hope she get's the message i sent her after i read this... i pointed out that the cognitive-damage that she was addressing is probably also tied to their attachment to their "smart phones".... let's see if she writes me back. :)
i also managed to finish all this work by 10.30 and able to get a bit of walking in (and a little sewing too)...
now it is time to rest..
